Buy the kit, get the book.
When you buy a Novavo kit, your Legacy Book account is created automatically. Within a few minutes, you'll receive an email with a link to set your password. Click it, set your password, and you're in.

Sit down and record.
Use the kit. Pick a card, press the button, they talk. The recorder stores everything. No phone, no app, no internet needed during the session.

Upload your recordings.
Plug the recorder into your phone or computer with the included USB-C cable. The recorder shows up like a regular drive. Drag the audio files into the Legacy Book app. Works on any device with a browser.

Organize into stories.
The app transcribes each recording automatically. If a recording covers multiple topics, the app suggests where to split it into separate stories. You review, adjust, and save. Every story gets a title, a transcript you can edit, and a place in your book's chapters.

Share with your family.
When you're ready, generate a share link from the dashboard. Send it to up to four family members. They create free listener accounts and can listen from any device, anytime. You stay in control. You can remove access at any time.

Is there a native app for iPhone or Android?
Native iOS and Android apps are coming to the App Store and Google Play. For now, the Legacy Book is web-based and works in any modern browser on any device. Once the native apps launch, they'll be a free download for all customers.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. The Legacy Book is fully mobile-responsive. You can record uploads, listen, edit transcripts, and share from your phone the same way you'd use any modern website.
How does my account get set up?
Automatically. When your kit order is paid, we create your account and send you an activation email within a few minutes. The activation link doesn't expire, so even if you don't open it for a week or two, it still works.
What if the activation email doesn't arrive?
Check your spam folder first, especially if you use Outlook or Hotmail. If it's not there, contact us at support@getnovavo.com and we'll send a new activation link directly.
How does sharing with family actually work?
You generate a private share link from your dashboard and send it to your family. Each person clicks the link, creates a free listener account (their email and a password), and they can access your Legacy Book from any device. Listeners can play stories and read transcripts. They can't edit anything or add recordings. You can remove access at any time.
How many people can listen?
Up to four listeners per book. You can remove and add listeners at any time, so the slots can rotate if you have a larger family.
What audio formats does the app accept?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, AAC, WebM, and audio from MP4 video files. All major formats are supported.
Are the recordings safe and private?
Yes. Recordings are stored on Google Cloud's secure infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Only you and the people you explicitly invite can access your Legacy Book. We don't share, sell, or use your recordings for any purpose other than running the service.
Can I export my Legacy Book?
Not yet. Recordings are listen-only through the app for now. Export options for full books are planned for a future release.
Is there a subscription?
No. Novavo is a one-time purchase. Your Legacy Book, your recordings, and your listener slots are yours permanently with no ongoing cost.
