How Novavo works.

Record a parent's stories in their own voice. Turn those recordings into a digital Legacy Book your whole family can listen to. No subscription, no complicated setup.

The short version.

  1. You sit down with a parent and press one button on a small recorder while they answer a prompt card.
  2. You upload the audio to our app, which transcribes it and organizes it into a Legacy Book.
  3. You share the book with your family. Everyone listens from any device, whenever they want.

No apps. No WiFi. No phones between you. A typical session is ten minutes to an hour. Whatever feels natural.

Step 2

Upload the audio.

Plug the recorder into your phone or computer with the included USB-C cable. It shows up as a regular drive. No software to install. Drag the audio file into the Novavo app. That's it.

This is the only step that needs an internet connection.

Step 3

The app does the work.

Once a recording is uploaded, the app automatically transcribes it. If the recording covers multiple topics, the app suggests where to split it into separate stories. You review the suggestions, make any edits, and save.

Each story gets a title, a transcript you can edit, and a place in your Legacy Book's chapters. You choose how it's organized. You can add a cover, write an introduction, and arrange chapters however you want.

Step 4

Share it with your family.

When you're ready, generate a share link and send it to your family. Up to four family members can create free listener accounts and access the book from any device. Phone, tablet, laptop.

Listeners can play any story, read the transcripts, and return whenever they want. You control who has access and can remove listeners at any time.

A Legacy Book, kept forever.
